FANUC Series 31i-MODEL A features an abundant array of capabilities and superb reliability, which make the CNC most suitable for controlling transfer lines. A significant enhancement has been made in its high-speed, large-capacity and multi-path PMC with expansion in its ladderinstructions, and by an added function of FANUC NC GuidePro to verify PMC ladderprogram. FANUC also plans to develop a PMC Function Block capability, which meets the IEC61131-3 Standards, to facilitate PMC ladder programming.

A 10.4" CNC Display Unit with touch screen

FANUC offers CNC display units optimal for transfer lines, including a 10.4" LCD with touch screen and a 15" LCD for automotive use, to create a machine operation screen with FANUC Auto HMI-NC with ease. The CNC features Dual Check Safety, which meets European Safety Standards, to simplify programming of Programmable Safety Related I/Os, bringing about significant enhancements in its capabilities compared with the Series 18i control. The CNC supports a variety of FA networking, including the Ethernet, FL-net, PROFIBUS-D, and DeviceNet, for easy building of transfer lines in combination with the host production management system.
