Powerful network communication
Dedicated communication processor assures high-speed, high-stable communication with no negative influence with robot motion. I/O data file transferring between robot and PLC along with serial I/O communication between robot and peripherals provide a powerful network solution. This is encouraged by high-speed I/O controller and dedicated PMC (programmable machine controller) integrated in the robot controller.
CIMPLICITY HMI for remote monitor & control
CIMPLICITY is a software package of monitoring and control management for production system. CIMPLICITY integration with PC provides sophisticated management of the robot system even at remote site over a phone line to satisfy all of the needs at production floor by monitor and manage robot, PLC, and peripherals connected over the Ethernet.
USB port (controller, i Pendant)
Programs or data can be saved or loaded through the USB port on the operator's panel of the controller. If the controller is apart from the robot, the USB port of i Pendant can be used to save or load programs or data.
i Pendant
i Pendant with a large color LCD display can perform teaching operation or reference various types of data when connected to the factory LAN or Internet. Since analysis results in the dianosis database can be referenced by i Pendant, an appropriate action can be taken at tha factory floor.
