In May 1997, the Miseum of the Literature on the Technology of Ordnance opened at the FANUC Headquarters.
(Not open to the public)
The collection consists of 4800 items of literature on the ordnance technology which was gathered by Department of Technology of Ordnance at Tokyo Imperial University mainly prior to World War II.
The literature collection consists of 1600 books and 600 magazines on ordnance and military technologies as well as 2600 literature on basic science such as mathematics and physics.
The museum stands by a fast growing beech tree planted in commemoration of FANUC's 25 year anniversary.
