FANUC FA & Robot Foundation
In March of 1989, FANUC donated $5 million to establish FANUC FA & Robot Foundation.
The focus of this foundation was to develop automation technology specifically through the use of machine tools, industrial machines and robots.
With its own funds and yearly donations from FANUC, the foundation awards grants to research efforts for the FA and industrial robot technologies (Original Paper Award).
