Factories
Every FANUC factory is robotized.
Manufacturing Technology Department
Undertakes R&D initiatives to enhance efficiency and lower costs of the FANUC factories through automation and robotization by utilizing FANUC's latest products in production.
Electronics Factory

The factory has a capacity to produce a total of 20,000 CNC's and robot controllers a month.
All processes from parts inspection to final product testing are highly automated by intelligent robots and computers, which enable the production of highly reliable products.
Servo Motor & Spindle Motor Factory

The factory is equippd with the most advanced intelligent robotic automation system. All work processes from motor parts delivery, assembling, testing, packing to shipping are automated by using intelligent robots.
It has a capacity to produce 100,000 motors of about 2,000 different kinds a month.
From the distributed stations on the production floor, intelligent robots pick up motor parts directly, and perform automatic assembly.
Machining (Turning) Factories

The factory manufactures parts mainly by turning machines, for motors, robots and robomachines.
The workpieces stored in the distributed stations are supplied according to the schedule to each machining cell that is directly connected to these stations. The cells are robotized for around-the-clock machining with intelligent robots.
Press & Die Cast Factory

Press Factory

Die Cast Factory
This factory is fully automated with intelligent robots performing automatic pressing of motor cores and die-casting of parts.
Machining (Milling) Factories

There are two Machining (Milling) Factories at FANUC. In these factories, parts for robots and robomachines are machined with high precision. "The FANUC Robot Cell" which realizes more than 700 hours of continuous operation per month with FANUC intelligent robots, are installed.
Sheet Metal Factory

The factory manufactures the cabinets for FANUC robot controllers. This is the state-of-the-art factory, where every process from cutting to assembling is automated with intelligent robots.
Robot Factory

The factory has a capacity to produce 3,000 robots per month.
Robots are assembled partly utilizing automatic assembling systems. Every assembled robot goes through a continuous running test and stringent inspection to ensure its reliability.
Injection Molding Machine Factory

The factory has a capacity to produce 400 ROBOSHOTs per month. During manufacture, the ROBOSHOTs are connected with a host computer through LAN, thus enabling the automatic data setting and data collection for production processes from assembly to testing, which results in a production of highly reliable products.
Tsukuba Factory

Assembly of ROBODRILLs

Assembly of ROBOCUTs
The factory at the foot of Mt. Tsukuba has a capacity to produce 1,200 ROBODRILLs and ROBOCUTs a month.
Information on design, sales and production is integrated, through LAN network linked to the FANUC Headquarters, to build the most advanced CIM system.
Hayato Factory

The factory in Kagoshima Prefecture is dedicated to producing sensors for servo motors with the production capacity of 100,000 units per month. Completely robotized machining and assembly lines perform the highly efficient production, including machining, assembly and testing of parts, with their system directly connected to the distributed station.
