The 21st All Japan Student’s Indoor Flying Robot Contest

The 21st All Japan Student’s Indoor Flying Robot Contest was held from September 26 (Fri) to September 28 (Sun) in the Nihon Kogakuin Arena on the Kamata Campus of Nihon Kogakuin College.

This competition is organized to foster talent in manufacturing, particularly in aircraft design and control. For students, it also serves as a valuable opportunity to consider their future career paths and connect with sponsoring companies. This year, the event was a great success, with a record-breaking 126 teams from 53 schools participating.
Participants competed in missions such as cargo transport and automatic pilot, showcasing flight performance, control techniques, and piloting skills.

FANUC was a special sponsor of the event, which attracts students ready to contribute immediately in manufacturing industries. The FANUC Award was presented to the Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology, which won first place in the automatic pilot category.
