Four Seasons of FANUC December, 2025
In this season when subzero temperatures are the norm day after day, here are some winter birds that visit the forests of FANUC in the bitter cold season.

Brambling
These birds form large flocks, sometimes consisting of hundreds, moving together through the trees.

Dusky Thrush
These birds also live in flocks. In late autumn, they occasionally gather together and crowd a tree, turning the tree into a “dusky thrush-bearing tree.” However, by December, they are more often seen on the ground, rustling through fallen leaves.

Daurian Redstart (Female)
This is a solitary and dignified bird that is usually found alone. A male is yet to be encountered.

Rustic Bunting
A regular winter visitor to the FANUC forest. A relative of the Meadow Bunting, it is often seen walking on the dry leaves on the ground along with Japanese Tits, making soft crunching sounds.
