New Products Open House Show 2026
The 35th FANUC New Products Open House Show was held at the newly completed Central Technical Center.
During the three days from May 18 to 20, more than 7,000 visitors from across Japan came to the Show, filling the venue with excitement and vitality. The following May 21, 22, and 26 were mainly for overseas visitors. More than 900 guests from around the world attended and took time to explore the new products and functions in detail.

FA
In the FA area, FANUC introduced its new “Physical AI CNC,” which enables Generative AI to be used with machine tools. Generative AI interfaces with a CNC and a digital twin, and verifies digitally before actual implementation in the real world, leading to exceptional reliability. This concept was highly appraised. In addition, the latest CNC, FANUC Series 500i-A, was also received favorably for reducing cycle times in high-precision machining with its outstanding control abilities.

ROBOT
In the ROBOT area, a record-breaking 52 exhibits featuring 60 robots were on display. On the first-floor exhibition area, two new R-2000 models highlighted enhanced performance, maintainability, and low environmental impact. FANUC also unveiled the DR/8-16B Stainless, a stainless-steel delta robot with an 8 kg payload capacity. It can withstand high-pressure washing and is suitable for primary food handling, which was demonstrated through a pizza-transfer application. On the second-floor exhibition area, real-world applications of collaborative robots attracted considerable attention, together with practical examples of Physical AI using FANUC robots.

ROBOMACHINE
Under the theme, “ROBOMACHINE Improving Productivity and Expanding Application Possibilities,” FANUC presented a wide variety of new technologies and products.
For ROBODRILL, FANUC introduced the D116C, featuring an extended table stroke. For ROBOSHOT, three new models—S230C, S280C, and S350C—were launched, along with AI functions to improve productivity. For ROBOCUT, FANUC exhibited an easy setup function for high-precision machining and a wire-saving function that reduces running costs. The feedback was excellent.

SERVICE / FANUC ACADEMY
Strong interest was shown in the newly introduced “Maintenance Activity Support Service,” a cloud-based service that facilitates the management of maintenance histories and spare parts. This service, supporting the shared goal of customers and FANUC to achieve a factory that never stops, is now available through FANUC’s information portals, “MyFANUC” and “E-Store.” The integration of this service into these portals was greatly appreciated. The ACADEMY corner displayed scenes of currently held lectures at the ACADEMY and on-demand seminars, which are available at the time and place of choice. The exhibits sparked much interest, and it was a good opportunity to introduce the ACADEMY.

Open House Show for Employees’ Families
On Saturday, May 23, the Open House Show was opened to FANUC employees and their families, with the number of visitors totaling approximately 1,600. Hands-on robot demonstrations were especially popular, with long lines forming to participate. It was an excellent opportunity for employees themselves to introduce FANUC's latest products to their families.
