Integration between ROBOGUIDE and NVIDIA Isaac Sim™ is now available

Integration between FANUC’s high-precision robot simulation “ROBOGUIDE” and NVIDIA’s photorealistic simulation platform “NVIDIA Isaac Sim” is now available.


Through the collaboration between FANUC and NVIDIA, industrial robot simulation is evolving to a new dimension.

By integrating ROBOGUIDE’s high-precision robot path and cycle time calculations with the photorealistic physics simulation of NVIDIA Isaac Sim, we enable a digital twin that faithfully reproduces real-world robot behavior in a virtual environment, providing comprehensive support for design, validation, and optimization.


Strengths of ROBOGUIDE

ROBOGUIDE uses the same control algorithms as actual FANUC robots, enabling highly accurate simulation of robot paths and cycle times. This ensures faithful reproduction of real-world operations, allowing efficient verification and optimization before deployment.


Strengths of NVIDIA Isaac Sim

NVIDIA Isaac Sim is an open-source reference framework for robot simulation built on the NVIDIA Omniverse library. With advanced visual fidelity and flexible scalability, it enables testing of robot behavior in complex environments and under diverse conditions within a virtual space.

FANUC offers an exceptionally wide range of robots—from collaborative CRX series to small models with 3 kg payloads and ultra-large models up to 2,300 kg. These are available as “OpenUSD SimReady Assets” in NVIDIA Isaac Sim, enabling rapid construction of simulation environments.

Photorealistic Virtual Factory with AI Validation

A photorealistic environment that reproduces light reflections, shadows, and material textures allows comprehensive validation of robot cells and entire factories. Beyond improved visibility, it also enables the acquisition and generation of AI training data using FANUC robots.
